Light yaki tape in hair extensions
PART YOUR NATURAL HAIR ALONG YOUR SCALP
Use your finger or a comb to make a horizontal part about an inch from the nape of your neck. The hair extensions will be applied near the line made by the part so that your upper hair will hide the layers.
SECTION OFF THE UPPER PART OF YOUR NATURAL HAIR
You can use a hair tie or hair clips to clip it up out of the way, securing all the hair above the part line. Make sure it's completely cleared in case of any hair falling down and flyaways getting in the way while you're installing your extensions.
ATTACH THE TAPE INS
Basically there comes each weft with a little tab of tape. Peel off the little blue sticker and sandwich your natural hair between two wefts of hair extensions. Don't apply it too close to your scalp.
Make sure that when you stick two pieces together it can freely flip upwards and downwards without pulling on any of your hair. Pull the extension up to make sure it doesn't feel too tight.
Light Yaki I-tip Hair Extensions
Section your natural hair into horizontal parts.
Clip the rest parts and put them out of the way and install the I tips from the bottom.
Section the lowest layer into equal strands.
Take a strand of your hair and slide it through the pulling hooks.
Pull the bead up onto the hair. Don’t pull it too close to your scalp or it may be stuck at the root where you can't lift your hair up.
Take out a piece of I tip hair extensions and insert it between your natural hair and the microbead.
Clamp it down with pliers.
Repeat the steps on each strand that you’ve sectioned.
Light Yaki Beads Weft
Section your natural hair into horizontal parts.
Tie your hair up or clip them to the top of your head to keep them out of the way except for the bottom layer.
Hold the weft extensions up and measure the length you need from one end to the other.
Cut the extra weft and leave beads weft the same length with your natural hair.
Hold the weft extensions and clip each end of the extensions in place.
Comb out a 1-inch wide strand of your natural hair from one end.
Thread the pulling hook through the microbead and hook out the strand of hair
Clamp the microbead down with the pliers.
Light Yaki Silk Press Clip-In Extension
Section your hair into layers and clip the rest on the top of your head which is conducive to installing the clip in hair extensions in case of getting the extra hair sandwiched in between. Each section you put the clip need be combed and sprayed. Fix the clips with an anchor in case of slipping out. Where the anchors will be depend on your hair texture, but they should scattered evenly around the sides and back of the head.
Take your clip-in hair extension weft out and open the the clips. Insert them over your sectioned hair and gently slide them on. Press the clips to keep them in place when they are properly merged with your natural hair.
Repeat last step until you get the volume you want and the clipped areas are properly covered.
